Jodi Dareal is a power house. She's an artist, Song writer, and a social media content creator. Jodi was born in 1989, in Brooklyn, New York. She has a BA in Art History as well as 15 plus years writing music, fiction literature, and creating art.

She is multi-talented in many art styles. Her go to art style is heavily influenced by her husband, comic book illustrator Shawn McArthur. Jodi uses a wide variety of material to create her artwork. Such as oil paint, acrylic paint, water color, pencil, ink and digital. Musically, she has collaborated with many underground artists, both locally and out of town. She has also written songs for underground artists while working on her own music on the side.

She created a female cypher series called FIIF ( Fresh. Innovated. Independent. Femces). FIIF is a female operated collective. Her goal is to create a safe space for female artists to be themselves. Most times in the music industry, women get put in a box. You're either too sexy or not sexy enough. She also highlights female rappers from all over on the FIIF Instagram page (@fiif_cypher_series_)
Jodi Dareal directs and edits all her music videos. Every thing is done in house. Down to the marketing of each song and promotion for her artwork and music. Being creative is her super power. She has become an unstoppable force in the Art Community.
